Max Europe Day Two
Max day two:
The general session highlighted an upcoming product by Adobe called "Thermo" and all I can say is WOW. This product is going to really streamline the development process of Flex applications. What they demoed is the ability for a designer to take a design from Photoshop, import it into Thermo and then prototype the application without needing to write a single line of code. What I mean by prototype is just that a functional, clickable, scrollable prototype populated with "Lorum Ipsum" data. It's just really freaking amazing stuff that I can't do justice by trying to explain. You will just have to wait for the Beta like me.
The leveraging Coldfusion with AIR session was really cool as well as the Hands On:Building CF Powered Flex Applications.
I then finished off the day with Design Patterns with Sean Corfield, which was a packed house.
Today I met, Mark Drew the man who has become synonymous with CFEclipse, Sean Corfield, as well as some really great guys from the UK who help run the CFUG and together with Andy Allan organize Scotch on the Rocks event in Edinburgh.
Adobe also put on a really nice dinner and party and again I managed to get to bed after midnight...
Thats that for day-two.
Happy Coding...

Didn't mean to offend. I'm horrible with names and on top of all that I left you out of the mix!
I would not classify my design patterns as a "packed house" (it was closer to that in Chicago) but I'm glad you enjoyed the session.
See you at Scotch 2008?
