Adobe AIR gets a Logo

Just about "everyone" have already blogged about this but I figured I would throw my two cents in as well.

So here is the new AIR logo:

The logo kind of reminds me of one of those foam triangle frisbee/boomerang things caught in mid-flight.

Ok so you may have to use your imagination a bit but there is definitely a similarity between the boomerang and the AIR logo. Yes I know they are both triangular in shape but the AIR logo also has a "foam" quality about it. The boomerang flies through the AIR, and Adobe AIR is light as AIR. See a definite correlation don't you agree?

Whoops gotta to go, those guys in the white coats have found me again...

Happy Coding..

John Farrar's Gravatar It reminds me of a lobe pump. Two of these cute little assemblies can pump everything from sewage to clay floating in water in mines. Very versatile little devices.

Gary Gilbert's Gravatar Ok perhaps I'm not as smart as the average bear because I had to look up what the heck a lobe pump was. In case anyone else out there has no clue here is a link to an image of a lobe pump I found on google: http://www.hydraulicspneumatics.com/FPE/images/pum....

I have to agree with you on this one John it looks a hell of a lot like part of a lobe pump! I wonder if that infringes on some IP somewhere? If it does I'm sure a lawyer somewhere is cackling like a mad man and rubbing his hands together.

Chris Brunner's Gravatar does anyone know a way to have a site send audio signals to a USB connected speaker system? i need my site to be able to make a noise, and have that noise transmitted through a USB connected device.

is this even possible?
