Sony Ericsson K550i

I have decided to finally get a new cell phone. Previously I had a Razr which served me quite well over the two plus years I had it.

But then bad luck struck and it disappeared on tram on the way home from work. I managed to get a replacement SIM card and then was stuck using my wifes 7 year old Nokia that has quite possibly the worst reception ever when compared to the excellent reception and range of my Razr!

Quite frankly I also grew a bit tired of the flip part so am not overly saddened at the loss of my old cell phone.

It isn't the easiest choice to make to get a new cellphone. The options are quite astounding. But by doing a bit of consumer research and polling my work collegues and friends I came to the realization that Sony Ericsson puts out a really good product. The most popular choice being the W series.

But I don't need a walkman, organizer, or game console I need cell phone that simply works, the problem is you just can't seem to get a phone these days with out all the bells and whistles.

So I broke down and ordered a K550i, it's a little bit of an upgrade from the K510i, and about 100EUR more but with the reviews I have seen I should be pretty happy.

Now begins the waiting period.

GoodFellow's Gravatar A new Sony Ericsson W970i mobile phone was not announced officially but its pictures became available in Internet. The phone looks impressive. It is going to be a real multimedia center. This phone has a revolving panel which includes an equalizer and buttons to start and pause music and video. You can see it here
