CFDJ Dead! Who cares?
Over the last couple of days I have seen a few blog entries by Ben Forta and Sean Corfield and others talking about the death of CFDJ.
"Everyone" has already said all that needs to be said as to why the magazine was garbage, so I won't go into that.
I will say that won't miss the magazine because I haven't visited the site in at least 2 years. I did however recently read a print magazine (the company I now work for has/had a subscription) but after reading the entire magazine I was disappointed I had expected to at least learn something new!
Personally I would rather read articles from the large number of community blogs or from the Coldfusion developer center than to try and weave my way through the myriad advertisements on CFDJ. Besides what I read from the Coldfusion blogs is usually more relevant.
Adios CFDJ! Now you know how to say good bye in spanish.
Happy Coding...
