30 Days Free Online Training

Last Tuesday Ben Forta posted on his blog about free Adobe Flex training offered by Total Training. But thats not the only free training you can get.

I decided to sign up for the free training, I am self taught in Flex and figure I still have a lot to learn especially when it comes to the best practices.

Well I discovered that when you sign up for the 30 days free training, using the code that is provided when following the link on Bens Post, you get access to 58 courses. Not only to two Flex courses but courses ranging from learning Excel to advanced Flash development to ASP.net.

*****UPDATE***** As Eric points out in his comment below it appears that I got 'lucky' when I signed up as he only has the two flex courses available. They may have had the wrong coupon code on the site earlier. ****************

I'm currently working my way through the "Flex 2: Rich Internet Applications" course and find it quite good. It is a great starter course for anyone wanting to learn Flex from scratch or you could skip ahead in the course to any subjects that interest you. I did find a few "bugs" in the course material but nothing major yet.

So if you have some free time I would highly recommend signing up for the free 30 days training. And thanks Ben for passing the link along!

Happy Coding...

Eric's Gravatar hmmm maybe the full access was a mistake.. just signed up and got only access to the two flex courses. But already very interesting anyway.

Bruce's Gravatar I urge everyone to at least sign up and download the course material. There are dozens of flex example projects that you can study. I'm also going through the Flex course and am learning some new techniques. For example, I've always coded by a hand view states, but the training shows how to do this in design mode, which will save me time.

Steve's Gravatar This is one of those situations where it paid to get on the ball early and sign up. Along with the Flex stuff, I'm getting access to these 58 courses and have learned so much more about Acrobat 8 Professional than I knew was in the package. I'm very impressed with the quality of the training and how they've packaged this training. I'll be tuned in to this site for many hours until the 30 days are up.

Gary Gilbert's Gravatar They also offer a yearly access package to all of their online training courses for only $299. If you didn't get in on the all access 30 day for free package.

I think 299 for the year is pretty sweet price.
