Where is my CFDude Shirt?

You know the "CFDude" from the Adobe Air launch poster? I've seen him on a T-Shirt here, Ben Forta. I asked Ben how I could get a T-Shirt and he said that they are not available here at Max Europe 2008.

Who do I need to talk to here at Max Europe to get a shirt? If you don't know who the CFdude is its this guy:

The coolest of the whole eboy series

So yeah my shirt size is medium ...

Jim Priest's Gravatar I will NEVER understand Adobe's marketing. Why aren't these all over the place? Max, CF user groups, etc.

Adobe - give out a $10 t-shirt and you get YEARS of free marketing!!!!!!!!!!!!

I still have a CF shirt from the Allaire days...

Joshua Cyr's Gravatar I think they just came out. Hopefully we get some sent to UG over the next few months.

You could get them at the Adobe booth at MAX as well. Though I didnt' get around to it until too late and they were out of Medium. Why o why don't people order enough Medium size shirts. Want to know what to order more of? Its the one your always out of! :-)

Justin Carter's Gravatar Yeah. Want! Large plz!

I actually put the CF rocks dude onto my blog a few days ago (after I had coincidentally done a bit of a pixel art inspired redesign), after I saw the pic of the shirt that Kai Koenig got... /jealous!

Gary Gilbert's Gravatar I have heard a couple of stories about the location of the shirts for Milan, but I think if you ask your CFUG manager he should be able to swing some shirts. It may just take a while.

Adam Lehman's Gravatar These shirts were a bit of a rogue project and aren't 100% official Adobe swag. We did a very small run of them for MAX US because we wanted to have something special and cool for the CF developers there. Since we had to fly under the radar the only way we could hand them out was in person. It sucks that we weren't able to get them to MAX Europe, but I'm sure we'll be making some more for the upcoming tours in 2009.

I'm glad everyone is digging them. When I had them made the marketing lead said something to the effect of, "You know the context of the original poster was an AIR birthday party, which is why the CF dude is drinking. It may not make sense on it's own". I told her CF developers don't need a special reason to party. ;-)

@Jim: These shirts aren't really mean for marketing (with very minimal Adobe/CF branding). It's meant as a gift and tool to remind the rest of the web development communities just how cool our community is.

Gary Gilbert's Gravatar @Adam,

Thanks for the response. I spent a bit of time cutting the CF guy out of the original poster and if we don't get official t-shirts for our CFUG I will just get them printed up myself :)

Big Mad Kev's Gravatar Also wasn't there meant to be a CF Centaur little guy to collect? Again Ben said their were some at Max North America.

Big Mad Kev's Gravatar Also remember that the t_shirt guy is the other way round so you can see his face ;)

Gary Gilbert's Gravatar @Kev,

Thats right! I first thought that they had just printed mirrored, but now that you say that I remember on the t-shirt we can see his face!

@Adam, if you can send me the png you used to print the t-shirts I will get some made through cafepress or one of the other t-shirt companies if there aren't any left to send to our cfug and/or for the guys at work.

Justin Carter's Gravatar Yeah it was a different image, that's why i used the one off the t-shirt on my blog rather than the original AIR launch party pic :P I wouldn't mind a better quality one as well, I want a mug, hahaha...

Reto's Gravatar @Kev, no there wa no little centaur at MAX NA. They had just the Max "The Explorer" and the Flash Builder-Chimp. They don't had the Flex Air-bot and Photoshop Cave Painter in San Francisco.
