Google Presentations
I recently decided to use Google docs to do a little writing. I find it's ok for simple documents without too much fancy stuff, simple for simple needs.
It's changed quite a bit since I first started using it and this time noticed that you can now also create presentations. A quick exploration of the features left me with the same feeling about the docs. It's simple, lean and basically feature flat. Sure you can insert images, video, shapes and even themes but if you want to do transitions and/or anything fancy well thats what Powerpoint or Impress are for I guess.
When Buzzword opened up for it's first public beta I naturally signed up to take a look and I have to say that for online word processing Buzzword is kick ass in comparison, though I am not sure how fair the comparison between Buzzword and Google docs is.
Now I wonder who is going to provide the first flash based Presentation software that provides not only a beautiful interface but also a full array of smooth transitions that brings the eye-candy to a presentation.

I've signed up for a beta account, now I just have to see if they give me an account.
