Adobe Photoshop Elements 7 Announced

Adobe has announced version 7 of the popular Photoshop Elements software this time adding a plus membership to their new online service Photoshop.com

The Plus membership at Photoshop.com gives Elements owners 20Gigs of online storage space to back-up their photos, along with templates, online training, and online Album templates. The standard membership comes with 5Gigs and doesn't come with the online tutorials, templates, or themes.

The full feature list of Elements 7 can be found on the Adobe site. The price point is set at $149 USD for Elements 7 and $179 for Elements 7 and the Plus membership at Photoshop.com (with a yearly reoccuring fee).

The Elements page, as well as the Adobe Store, only provides the ability to pre-order the software. It's great that they announced it but when can it actually be bought?

Simon Natator's Gravatar This is great news. I thought Elements 6 was a great improvement on 5, I can't wait to get my hands on it. Iwonder if it will hold its price or slip to the Elements 6 price after a couple of months.

I saw somewhere that it should be in stores in Oct by the way.
