JQuery's Rockstar Causes Community Uproar

It appears that the fresh new look proved a little too much for the JQuery community.

As I mentioned in my post about the new look I thought that it wasn't as serious a look as the previous look. It appears that many community members found it childish and totally inappropriate for a JavaScript Library and supposedly not at all in sync with the enterprise clientèle they are trying to woo.

The JavaScript Rockstar ended up not lasting even 24 hours on the homepage. The look is still crisp and fresh but the childish banner and tagline are gone.

The old look with the RockStar that the community put to a quick death:

Happy Coding...

Rey Bango's Gravatar Well, at least people can never say that we don't listen to feedback. :)

Also, it's jQuery. Lowercase "j" :)
