Chrome Extensions for Mac

Google recently launched browser extensions for Chrome for Windows and Linux but haven't yet for the newly released Google Chrome for Mac. According to TechCrunch, though, that's going to change by today.

Don't get your hopes up just yet, the extensions, which are similar to Firefox add-ons, are being released only on the developer channel and probably won't be available for general release until early 2010.

If you absolutely have to try it all out now, you can sign up for the developer version of Chrome for Mac. There is also an open source version of the Chrome browser for the Mac called Chromium available for download.
