Google Earth 5.0 Released
Yesterday Google released the new version of Google Earth. This new version of Google Earth just doesn't let you explore the earth's surface now you can dive beneath the surface of the ocean. Through animation Google Earth lets you dive blow the surface and explore the ocean floor, see exclusive content provided by Google Partners like the BBC, and the National Geographic.
Another new feature allows you to see how things have changed over time by providing historical imagery. Now mind you this feature will be more useful as time goes by.
Google Earth also lets you record your tour and share it with others, you can even Narrate your journey. Saving the best to last you can now even explore the surface of Mars courtesy of the extensive NASA/USGS imagery. Though soon Google will have to rename Google Earth to Google Planets.
