Railo Hosting with Alurium

Want to try out Railo but having trouble finding a hosting company? Well Alurium just started offering Railo hosting plans (Along with PHP and Ruby). It's a brand new start-up started by Peter Amiri.

The prices are pretty darn reasonable starting at under $7 USD/Month and going up to $49.95 for unlimited everything.

What is nice is that it also comes with support, on my vps if I screw something up I only have myself to yell at!

Happy Hosting...

Franz's Gravatar I ordered a railo webhosting and I got php-hosting. After 3 weeks of complaining, that I need coldfusion (railo) hosting I wrote that I want my money back. The closed my account... and I still hope, that I will get my money back!

Peter Amiri's Gravatar Franz I am sorry you had such a bad experience. Unfortunately we thought we were doing everything right to get ready for release. Actually worked with the guys are Railo and configured cPanel to support Railo. Unfortunately soon after launch it became clear that the Tomcat install of cPanel was not going to work out. We had to go back to the drawing boards and rework how we can support Railo. Right now we use Resin to support it.
If anyone is interested to try our services contact me and I will setup a trial account for you. You can reach me at peter at alurium dot com.

That is an unacceptable excuse. How can you sell something without testing it properly first.
Your business, like many others on the internet, is the scum that pollutes the good products and services on the net.

Jonathan's Gravatar I am not one to comment much, but quiet frankly it makes me mad when someone slanders another poster this much. Do things happen when products go out to production? Yes. How long has Railo been out? A while but they are one of the first hosting companies to take it on. Per your own words you said you waited three weeks and the website clearly states you have 60 days to try out their service. This is not the place for your anger.
