iPhone OS3 Cracked!
The new OS for the iPhone has been available since Wednesday and the new crack was released on Friday as reported by the Dev-Team blog.
Both the PwnageTool and redsn0w allow you to "jailbreak" your iPhone and iPod-Touch 3G. This means you can add applications and content without having to go through iTunes or Apples Appstore.
Unfortunately, the existing Simlock hack yellowsn0w does NOT work with OS 3.0, but the guys over at Dev-Team are working hard to provide ultrasn0w, but as of a few minutes ago there hasn't been a release.
Looking at the number of comments from all the people waiting for the release of ultrasn0w there are quite a number of people who don't like the exclusive deals that Apple has with specific carriers around the world. Not surprising given the length and price of the available packages.
Now that Apple has pushed the latest installment of iPhone firmware for iPhone and iPod Touch i.e. iPhone OS 3.1.3, it’s time to learn how to jailbreak iPhone firmware 3.1.3 and how to install cracked apps then.
