Mini DVI Adapter
I spent some time the last week or so working sporadically on an intro Presentation for ExtJS. Basically highlighting some of the cool things like Ext Direct. It also happens to be my last day at the company.
Naturally I did it all on my Mac Book Pro, along with setting up the examples on my laptop as well. 10 minutes before the presentation was to start I went to the conference room and then I remembered! The new MBP only has a mini display port! I never bothered to go out and buy the adapter.
So my presentation and everything is on my laptop and I have no way of beaming it on the wall. What now? I could export my keynote to PPT but I added some nice 3d transitions to my presentation and wanted them preserved so that meant PDF was also out. Luckily you can export the presentation as a .MOV file (It gets large pretty fast). While Keynote was making a movie out of my presentation I copied my example files to my work machine and used remote desktop to show the example files in Eclipse.
Presentation went pretty good, I think I may polish it up a bit and upload it to SlideSix
Happy Coding...
