Just out of curiosity, (if I may ask) what made you decide to move to Germany in the first place? I've always thought it would be neat to just pack up and go live in another country for a while, but I've never had the justification (or guts) to do it.
Ive lived in 5 Countries (Bahamas, South Africa, Canada, UK, USA) Germany now the 6th. The decision to move here was pretty easy for me honestly and was made easier by the fact that I married a German and we both had not planned to set our roots in the USA. Her family lives in Bavaria, Bavaria has really good beer, the Alps are near by, and Bavaria has really good beer.
Seriously though Munich is really at the center of Europe, from Munich you can get to just about any European country in 2hrs flight time. And I an drive to Italy in less than 4 hours.
How did you find the different jobs in the countries? Was there a lot of red tape trying to
work in the different countries? This would be a great blog article.
